Are you looking for an all-inclusive Disney Resort?
There are so many different factors to consider with any vacation, like the the hotel room, food, excursions, etc. and sometimes it seems like it’s better to book an all-inclusive or regular resort.
A common question for many people is, are Disney Resorts are all inclusive or not?
No, Disney World resorts are not all-inclusive, unfortunately. While Disney World offers several types of packages, such as room-only, Magic Your Way, and the Disney Dining Plan (when it’s available), they do not offer all-inclusive packages that include all meals, drinks, activities, and theme park tickets in the price of the package.
In this post, we’ll take a closer look at the different types of packages available at Disney World, what your options are and where to get the best deals on your Disney vacation.
Before we get started, if you’re a fan of all things Disney and love discussing theme parks and planning Disney vacations, then I want to announce the launch of my new private Facebook group, the Disney Park Advisor Community. Are Disney Resorts All-Inclusive?
When it comes to planning a Disney vacation, one of the most important decisions to make is choosing the right package.
And there are so many all-inclusive packages available out there for a whole variety of vacation destinations like those that have been made popular by resorts like Sandals, and Atlantis among so many others.
However, when it comes to the Walt Disney World resorts, they are not all-inclusive. Types of Packages Available at Disney World
When it comes to booking a stay at Disney World, there are three main types of packages to choose from: room-only, Magic Your Way, and Disney Dining Plan.
So what options do you have if you want to stay at a Disney resort?
A room-only package is just what it sounds like – it includes a room at a Disney resort, but nothing else. This option is perfect for those who are only interested in staying on Disney property, and who plan to purchase park tickets and make dining reservations separately – or in some cases, not at all. Sometimes people enjoy just spending their vacation at the resorts and taking in the resort amenities. At places like the Grand Floridian there are spas, amazing restaurants, and other things to do other than spend the day in the hustle and bustle of the parks.
The main advantage of a room-only package is that it gives you the most flexibility in terms of planning your trip. However, it also means that you’ll have to pay for everything separately, which can add up quickly.
Magic Your Way Packages
A Magic Your Way package from Disney World is a great choice for those who want to enjoy the Ultimate Disney Vacation experience. This package includes room accommodation at one of Disney’s many resorts, theme park tickets, and the option to add on dining experiences or even exclusive extras depending on your needs.
The big advantage of this package is that it can be tailored according to your particular interests and vacation desires without having to buy separate tickets and accommodations. Everything is in one convenient all-inclusive package which makes planning your dream vacation much easier.
However, one potential drawback of opting for a Magic Your Way package is its cost – when you factor in added items such as dining experiences or specialized extras, the price tag can be significantly higher than if you booked room-only packages separately.
Disney Dining Plan Packages
When they’re available the Disney Dining Plan is a great option to pay for all your food at once. We’ve used it numerous times on our trips, and love the convenience. However, as of January 2023, the Disney Dining Plan still has not returned.
But if and when it does return, it’s a great option. Here are some of the details.
A Disney Dining Plan package is an addition to your hotel reservation that includes set number of meals and snacks at Disney restaurants. This option is perfect for those who want to have all of their meals taken care of, and who want to try a variety of different restaurants at Disney World. There are advantages and disadvantages to a Disney Dining Plan package – some feel that it can be more expensive way of paying for food, especially if you don’t end up using all of your meals or snacks. And we’ve had a couple trips where we were loading up on cupcakes to take home with us from the Contempo Cafe after we’d not used all our snack credits!
Where to book your Disney Resort
When it comes to booking a Disney resort, there are a few different options available.
The first, and most obvious, option is to book directly through the Disney website. This is our go-to tool for booking our Disney trips, and it’s the most convenient way to get everything taken care of.
The Disney website offers a wide variety of resorts, packages, and room options, making it easy to find the perfect vacation for you and your family. Plus, booking through the Disney website gives you access to exclusive deals and discounts, as well as the ability to make dining and FastPass+ reservations in advance.
One of the great things about booking through the Disney website is that you can choose from different types of packages such as the “Magic Your Way” packages, “Disney Dining Plan” packages, and more. These packages are tailored to meet different needs and preferences.
The Magic Your Way packages include park tickets and the option to add on dining or other experiences, while the Disney Dining Plan packages include park tickets, a set number of meals and snacks at Disney restaurants allowing you to have everything included in one package but still have some flexibility in terms of what you want to do.
Disney reservations via phone
Another option is to book through the Disney reservation phone number and talk through your options with a cast member. The Disney reservation phone number is (407) 939-4357, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Booking through the phone is a great option for those who prefer to speak with a live representative, or who have questions that they would like answered before making a reservation.
Finally, you can also book a Disney resort through a travel agency. Travel agencies are experts in planning Disney vacations, and can often offer special deals and discounts that you won’t find anywhere else. Plus, working with a travel agent can help to take the stress out of planning your vacation, as they will handle all of the details for you.
Another option that you may want to consider is Costco Travel Packages for Disney World.
Costco members already know that they can save big with Costco Travel deals. These deals include several options for Disney World, where visitors can score good rates at both Disney World hotels and nearby Orlando resorts along with theme park tickets. This is a great option for those who want to experience the magic of Disney World while also saving money on their hotel stay.
When looking at Costco Travel Packages for Disney World, it’s important to keep in mind that not all of the packages include meals. However, you can stock up on extra snacks at Costco before your trip to save money on food. Additionally, you can always add on a Disney Dining Plan when you book your package.
Other travel options
Southwest Vacations, United Vacations and Jetblue Vacations are all great options for bundling your travel, hotel stay and park ticket when visiting Disney World. Plus, you can often find exclusive deals that you won’t find anywhere else. With these packages, you can save money while still enjoying the magic of Disney World.
Booking through a travel agency
Booking a Disney vacation package with a travel agent is an excellent way to save time and money.
