Many people are accustomed to hotel’s providing a complementary breakfast – a continental breakfast can be a great way to start the day!

But what about Disney resorts? Do Disney resorts include breakfast with your stay?

No, I’m sorry to say that Disney resorts do not include breakfast as part of the room rate. However, all Disney resorts have breakfast options and restaurants that serve breakfast with some even offer buffet options.

So what are the breakfast options available at Disney World hotels?

Are the options different based on value, moderate or deluxe resorts?

Are there any alternatives to eating breakfast at your Disney resort?

The reality of breakfast at Disney World hotels

Unfortunately, you won’t be treated to a free breakfast during your stay at any of the Walt Disney World hotels. If you’re looking for a delicious way to start your day while enjoying the magical atmosphere of Disney World, you will have plenty of options.

You can head down to one of their onsite restaurants where they offer an array of both sweet and savory breakfast items – from decadent pancakes and French toast, to hearty omelettes and biscuits and gravy.

Or if you’re looking for something simpler, many of their restaurants also offer an American-style fast food breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, hash browns and more.

Many restaurants also offer lighter options such as yogurt parfaits or fresh fruit for those looking for something a bit healthier.

Plus, many of the resorts provide a fabulous selection of fruits and cereals for those looking for a healthier option.

No matter what type of breakfast you’re in the mood for, there’s something sure to please everyone’s appetite at any one of the Disney World hotels.

When staying at a Disney World resort, you can be sure to enjoy a delicious breakfast no matter what type of resort you’ve chosen. With so much to choose from, there are plenty of options to suit everyone’s tastes and preferences.

From sweet pastries and donuts, to eggs and bacon, you’ll find something that’ll start your day off right!

Here’s a breakdown of the options available at each type of resort:

Value Resorts

If you’re staying at one of the Value Resorts like the All-Star Resorts, Art of Animation or Pop Century, there are no table service restaurants, but you can take advantage of the quick service restaurants they offer.

For breakfast, you’ll find a variety of delicious options such as Mickey Mouse waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit and pastries to start your day the right way. Get everything from hot coffee to cold juices and smoothies to accompany your meal. You can even get cereal and yogurt parfaits a more nutritious breakfast.

No matter what type of breakfast you are in the mood for, Value Resorts will give you multiple choices that are sure to satisfy your appetite at a reasonable price.

Moderate Resorts

If you’re planning a vacation at one of Disney’s Moderate Resorts, you’ll have plenty of breakfast options to choose from. Moderate Resorts provide quick-service restaurants offering a selection of breakfast options, including pastries, fruit, and yogurt. If you prefer something more substantial for your morning meal, many of the quick service restaurants offer eggs, bacon, and sausage platters.

At Caribbean Beach Resort you can get a hearty breakfast with all your favorites like pancakes, French toast and omelets served up fresh at their table-service restaurant. Other Moderate Resorts – Coronado Springs Resort, Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Port Orleans Resort – Riverside – also have table-service restaurants.

Deluxe Resorts

If you are looking to start your day off on a special note, consider treating yourself to a character breakfast experience at one of Disney World’s Deluxe Resorts. Here, you can indulge in a large, luxurious buffet-style breakfast full of delicious and classic breakfast eats. The selection includes pancakes, French toast, eggs and omelets in all sorts of combinations, bacon and sausage links, steaming bowls of oatmeal and porridge, freshly baked pastries such as croissants and danishes, an array of seasonal fruits, muffins and breads – plus more!

Table service restaurants like Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Chef Mickey’s at Contemporary Resort, 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Ohana at Polynesian Village Resort and Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge all offer these delightful morning experiences most with the added bonus of Disney characters joining your table for pictures and fun conversations!

Breakfast alternatives to the options at your Disney resort

If you’re looking for alternatives to dining at a Disney restaurant for breakfast, there are a few options you can consider.

One option is to use Amazon Prime Now to order breakfast items and have them delivered to your hotel room. This is a great option if you’re looking for a more convenient and comfortable breakfast experience.

Another option is to use a food delivery service such as DoorDash or UberEats to order breakfast from a nearby restaurant and have it delivered to your hotel room. This can be a great way to enjoy a variety of breakfast options.

A third option is to wait until you’re in the theme parks to eat. Many of the quick-service restaurants in the parks open early and offer breakfast options. This allows you to start your day in the parks with a meal and save time before the crowds arrive. Lastly, you can always head to Disney Springs, which has a variety of restaurants that serve breakfast. This is a great option if you’re looking for a more diverse selection of options and have time before your park reservations or don’t mind the extra travel time.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can venture off property one of the many outside restaurants that are nearby the Disney resorts.
